FRGMT x Helinox V-Tarp 4.0

The Tac. V-Tarp 4.0 is one of 16 products in this special collaboration between fragment design and Helinox, to celebrate the opening of Helinox Creative Center Paris.

fragment design is led by Hiroshi Fujiwara, often referred to as the "Godfather of Streetwear". Known for its minimalist aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail, the brand frequently collaborates with major names in fashion and beyond, including Nike, Moncler and Louis Vuitton.

The collection features subtle elements like spec tags, engravings on the poles and jacquard tape featuring both brands' names. It amplifies the tactical nature of these Helinox products, allowing it to also blend in seamlessly in non-outdoor environments, such as a home, a shop or even a café.

One of the standout pieces from this collection, the V-Tarp 4.0 is a versatile shelter designed for outdoor enthusiasts. With its unique outside pole structure, consisting of two main poles and two side poles, this self-supporting shelter offers both stability and flexibility. 

The V-Tarp 4.0 features panels that can be transformed into double-layered mesh panels, allowing for excellent breathability while keeping insects at bay. For those who prefer an open space, all the panels can be rolled up to create a tarp-like environment. The front and back main doors are equipped with ventilation that incorporates a double-layered mesh panel, ensuring fresh air circulation and reducing condensation, while also being able to double up as an extended tarp with supporting poles.

Attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the V-Tarp 4.0. The inner skirt has been improved with the addition of a mesh that acts as a drain, preventing condensation from dripping down the inner walls and accumulating water. Navy, which is the signature colour of HCC Paris, is prominently featured throughout the design, complemented by black accents that represent fragment design.
